Computers are made from various physical parts or components including the case, monitor, keyboard, computer data storage, hard disk drive, graphic cards, sound cards,memory(RAM), motherboard, and so on.
First of all, all elements of a computer need a frame to store everything and that’s where he case comes in, which will store most if not all segments of a computer, usually being of a plastic or metal. The most essential factor of a computer is the motherboard, which holds all details of a computer together it connects directly or indirectly to every part of the computer. For example: the CPU, memory, USB ports, and more are all connected and ran through the motherboard.The central processing unit (CPU) is the device responsible for all responses of a computer. For example, mouse clicking, pressing on keys, opening application, all correspond to the doing of the CPU. Often regarded as the brain of the computer, its responsible for nearly all experiences with a computer but not always how fast a computer can be although it does play a big part, speed is determined by many different components not just the CPU. Random access memory or (RAM) mocks short term memory, when opening a document like word or spreadsheet its stored in RAM until the system shuts down or is saved into the hard drive. The hard drive mocks a long term memory and stores all sorts of documents, programs, and software which is saved even if the computer is off or unplugged. Power supply is another important key to a computer, because its source of power, when building or replacing parts of a computer take a note of the power being off. When it comes to expansion cards, they may not be all that necessary because most motherboards come with their own built in graphics, sound, and network cards. Although if a labor intensive game requires more specs to run properly, consider a graphic card that can perform with no worries. Virtually every motherboard has a sound card but if an upgrade or replacement is wanted it can be done. The network card allows your computer to communicate over a network and access the Internet connection, either through Ethernet (wired) or WI-FI (wireless). Again all cards can be placed and connected into the motherboard if not included, wanting to be replaced for a better more up to date version, or replaced if the current card is malfunctioning.
